Temple, Texas—Friday, October 7th was Larry Stephens’ last day as administrator for Weston Inn Health Center. As Stephens steps aside to accept a job opportunity in Waco, Josie Wimberley takes over his responsibilities as administrator of Weston Inn Health Center in Temple. Wimberley was previously the assistant administrator at the Weston Inn.
“We are so pleased to announce Josie’s promotion to administrator of the Weston Inn,” said Mark Fritz, vice chairman of TRISUN Healthcare. “As the former assistant administrator and a longtime resident of Temple, she has both the experience and a strong connection with the Temple community that we feel is very important.”
Wimberley was raised in Temple, graduating from Temple High, Temple Junior College and later Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas with a degree in business and a minor in human resources. Wimberley’s healthcare career began as a registered respiratory therapist, working as a supervisor and then later as a director. In 1998, Wimberley began a career change from the hospital setting to long-term care and has since worked in Central Texas nursing homes as assistant administrator and administrator.
