TRISUN activity programs are designed to engage our residents in activities that they enjoy and to meet their needs physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially and intellectually. Programs that help to meet these needs include:
- Adapted exercise groups--Including a wide variety of exercises designed to meet the needs of the group
- Monthly birthday parties--A monthly birthday party to celebrate each resident born within that month
- Resident council meetings--Meetings that offer the residents an opportunity to express any ideas they may have related to the facility
- Games--Designed to stimulate the physical and cognitive needs of the residents, including bowling, word games, trivia, bingo, dominos, etc.
- Musical events/socials--Activities to stimulate socialization and memories
- Religious services--Each resident, regardless of religious preference, is offered an opportunity to worship as they choose at each facility. Devotionals, Bible studies and various services are offered, as well as personal visits from our chaplains.
One-on-one visits are provided for residents who may want more individual interaction, in addition to or in place of group activities. Numerous in-room activities are offered, including regular or large print books, books on tape, crafts, music, etc. |
